I’m Christina Dymock, a USA Today Bestselling Author, passionate storyteller, and lifelong student of scripture. Over the years, I’ve come to see the Book of Mormon not just as a sacred text but as an intricate, beautifully woven record filled with patterns, history, temple, covenants, and meaning waiting to be discovered.
“Feasting” on the Word
Many of us have read the Book of Mormon multiple times, but how often do we truly feast on it? Nephi invites us to “delight in the words of Christ” (2 Nephi 32:3), and that’s what this space is all about—moving beyond skimming verses to uncover the richness and depth of the text.
This website was born from a personal journey. Besides a lifetime of reading and teaching from the Book of Mormon, I spent two years reading the Book of Mormon seven times, following different study patterns each time. What I discovered transformed my understanding and opened my eyes to the beauty of Nephi’s writing structure, the cultural context of ancient scripture, God’s patterns and dealings with His children, how to hear/read/understand the language of God, and the powerful way the Book of Mormon speaks to our day.
One of the most exciting discoveries I made was that Nephi structured 1 Nephi using the feasts outlined in the Law of Moses. These feasts appear in order, and each theme is reflected in the stories Nephi chose to include. This realization opened a whole new way to see the depth and intentionality behind his record and beyond into the entire Book of Mormon.

A Little About Me
I’ve been writing and publishing for over 20 years, with more than 200 books to my name, including non-fiction, historical fiction, cookbooks, and family-friendly romance under the pen name Lucy McConnell. But my deepest passion lies in exploring and sharing the wonders of the Book of Mormon.
I’ve had the privilege of contributing to the Stick of Joseph Podcast and Angels Unscripted Podcast, where I dive into scripture discussions and faith-based storytelling and talk about relationships, writing fiction, and a western lifestyle. Whether through writing, research, or discussion, my goal is to help readers see the Book of Mormon in new and exciting ways.
